Arabsat-6A Mission

  • Publisert 7 dager siden

    SpaceXSpaceX

    Runtime: 56:11

SpaceX is targeting Thursday, April 11 for a Falcon Heavy launch of the Arabsat-6A satellite from Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The primary launch window opens at 6:35 p.m. EDT, or 22:35 UTC, and closes at 8:31 p.m. EDT, or 00:31 UTC on Friday, April 12. The satellite will be deployed approximately 34 minutes after liftoff.
Following booster separation, Falcon Heavy’s two side boosters will attempt to land at SpaceX’s Landing Zones 1 and 2 (LZ-1 and LZ-2) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. Falcon Heavy’s center core will attempt to land on the “Of Course I Still Love You” droneship, which will be stationed in the Atlantic Ocean.

Why isnt anyone mentioning that the video went out when the previously failed center core lands? Then it all of a sudden flashes to it already landed on the drone ship. And, after all of that, the center core just up and slides off the platform into the ocean.

Does anybody even use their brain anymore? They say that space is a perfect vacuum. A rocket good fire all day long in a vacuum and go absolutely nowhere think about it! There's no atmosphere there's no Planet there's nothing to thrust off the kinds of thrust they show you only work in an atmosphere. Think about it it's hilarious

Dag siden
Collin Daugherty
Collin Daugherty

+Safir ..space...a rocket only works in a pressurized envroment...and there is no way to pressurize a capsul against a vacum like space...on earth the strongest vacuum chamber in the world can't even come close to the vacuum of space and it is 8 ft thick concrete with steel doors

Dag siden

+Safir while we're on the subject of pressures, nothing here on Earth could enter the vacuum of space in a matter of seconds without completely exploding unless it was the pressurized the higher it went. Which would make breathing really hard and wouldn't allow astronauts to be floating around in their t-shirts instead of a pressure suit. The only thing I can compare it to is trying to get to the bottom of the ocean in a tin can in 30 seconds but instead of imploding the spacecraft would explode

Dag siden
Sebastião Mendonça
Sebastião Mendonça

+Cesar Gonzalez and what are you trying to get at? Yes there was a force pushing against the oxygen. It was the pressure from within the tank.

Dag siden
Cesar Gonzalez
Cesar Gonzalez

+Sebastião Mendonça if the momentum lost by one object is gained by another object, then the total amount constant. so what i am thinking is if you have oxygen escaping from a valve. that is telling me that there is a force pushing that solid object. but again i am not a scientist at all. i just try to use common sense

Dag siden
Sebastião Mendonça
Sebastião Mendonça

You dont understand conservation of momentum do you? No forces like air resistance or acceleration from the engine are being exerted on the rocket, so the solid oxygen, travelling at the same speed as the rocket itself floats away as if they were still.

If you loose your sat connection because of landing falcon's vibration by shaking the droneship from it's direction to satellite. You can prevent this issue by adding mountable and dismountable "unmanned small dedicated satellite connection stabilized boat" to the droneship, that will handle the whole signaling purpose with satellites perfectly by moving away 40 - 50 yards away from the droneship. Video Signal from the droneship to "unmanned small dedicated satellite connection stabilized boat" could be transfeered with wired and wireless technology. After all show done, it can move and mount itself to the droneship ! And You can call that small boat as X Whisperer.

To protect against radiation on long-distance space flight, you can use a magnetic field (similar to that of the Earth), you can generate it using an electric pendulum (capacitor + choke). The same technology can be applied in case of an accident at nuclear power plants. Correct me if I am mistaken.

Dag siden
pcofgame bot
pcofgame bot

Thank you for the answer, and how do You think it is necessary and possible to protect yourself from radiation on long-distance space flights.

Dag siden
Wojtek Sykurski
Wojtek Sykurski

Sorry, but it won't work against gamma/x-ray/neutron radiation (it could be effective against alpha and beta: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiation). Also (for today technology) such generator would increase mass of the ship/station -> which means higher fuel requirements + slower acceleration. The last means that it would take much longer for parsing high radiations zones (like Van Allen Belts).

The vibrations from the rocket landing cause the communications to not be able to align with the sattelite, making it impossible to transmit data. It's not as simple as it seems, it would require a completely separate boat and wired connection to it.

Hey Mr. Elon Musk... just a stupid suggestion for you from the peanut gallery. Why don't you, in one of your upcoming proving missions or launches, place a camera on the Moon so we can have a live video streaming look-back of the Earth 24/7? Just a thought from a simple soul if you will, or maybe a simpleton. By the way sir, if you tilt the A in SPACEX around just a little bit you get SPYCEX. Hopefully your company is not going to be spying for the government.

Heard you had a booster overbaord ...unfortunate. not saying Our not so buddy Jeff had a good idea a larger ship, however. This would be a perfect ocean base able to carry a rocket transport cradle on one end of the deck to secure and lay down returned booster. Checkout this link to the French Mistral class Amphibious Assult Vessel. (Mini Aircraft Carrier) I would suggest SpaceX would get Pentagon approval for purchase of an Unarmed Spec of the vessel. Added security plus able to fly crew and land via Helocopter. Not to mention F35 Mil Jets now based on USS WASP Amphibious Assult Ship.
